The Missouri Community Service Commission (MCSC) is seeking proposals from eligible organizations interested in operating AmeriCorps programs to strengthen local communities through national service. Eligible organizations include public or private nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, and state or local government entities. Proposals from first-time applicants will be considered for AmeriCorps State formula funding. All AmeriCorps State formula applicants must request a minimum of 5.00 Member Service Years (MSY). One MSY is the equivalent of one full-time AmeriCorps Member. The AmeriCorps State competitive funding opportunity is by invitation only. Applicants invited by MCSC to apply for this type of funding must request a minimum of 20 Member positions.
