The Missouri Community Service Commission (MCSC) is seeking proposals from eligible organizations interested in operating AmeriCorps programs to strengthen local communities through national service. Eligible organizations include public or private nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, and state or local government entities.
Proposals from first-time applicants will be considered for AmeriCorps State formula funding. All AmeriCorps State formula applicants must request a minimum of 5.00 Member Service Years (MSY). One MSY is the equivalent of one full-time AmeriCorps Member.
The AmeriCorps State competitive funding opportunity is by invitation only. Applicants invited by MCSC to apply for funding via this competition must request a minimum of 20 Member positions.
Notice of Intent to Apply (First-time Applicants Only)
All first-time applicants are required to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply to MCSC by completing the intent form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5YSG5KQ by Monday, October 31, 2016 at 11:59 pm (CST).
Technical assistance is available to eligible applicants throughout the grant application period until Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Applicants may direct questions to MCSC staff Monday-Friday, between 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (CST). Contact information is provided in the Missouri Notice of Funding Opportunity.
